  • The opportunity for all meeting participants to wear only one hat – that of active, engaged contributor
  • A keen sense of the participation levels and the ability to adjust the flow of the session in real time
  • Experience with a variety of tools and techniques to optimize participation and overall meeting effectiveness
  • A strong ability to observe and questionUnderstanding what you want to accomplish at your session is key to our success. We shape our ideas and solutions to our clients’ unique needs to ensure they get the best return on their investment. Facilitation services are designed and focused on your specific outcomes.

Typically facilitation is preceded with some pre-work for the meeting participants to ensure they hit the ground running during the actual session. Post session work may entail detailed meeting reports and recommendations along with the design of follow-up processes.

Delivery of Customized Training Workshops
Quite often through the findings of a needs analysis, specific skill gaps are highlighted. When leaders and employees require skill development, designing and delivering training can provide the solution. Latitude44 creates workshops that are designed on adult learning principles which provide a safe and comfortable environment in which participants can absorb, share ideas, practice and receive feedback. After establishing the need/topic area, specific learning objectives are written followed by the design of a highly interactive process to involve participants to the greatest extent.

Workshops have been designed and delivered in countless areas of interpersonal, leadership, communication and service skills. Some of our signature programs include:

Coaching for Impact
Effective leaders achieve great results through the efforts and performance of others. Effective leaders are also effective coaches who see the strengths in their employees, the development opportunities, and are committed to supporting their employees in the achievement of enhanced knowledge, performance and self-fulfillment. ‘Coaching for Impact’ focuses on the critical mindset, skills and conversational frameworks that help leaders connect with each employee’s unique needs, abilities and potential. This coaching model has proven to be the most powerful and the reason is simple – when individuals are allowed to identify their own paths of improvement and their own solutions, they are more committed to making the changes necessary to achieve and sustain new levels of success.

By the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:

  • Identify the benefits of coaching (for employees, leaders, and organizationally)
  • Describe the critical components of a mindset conducive to coaching
  • Self-assess their current coaching skills
  • Identify key skills and behaviours of an effective coach
  • Utilize practical frameworks and other models for coaching conversations
  • Demonstrate their coaching skills with cases and a real life work situation
  • Identify how to integrate coaching into current performance management practices
  • Create a practical action plan for moving forward

Understanding and Managing Behavioral Differences (UMBD)™
UMBD is a 1-2 day workshop that utilizes TRACOM’s proven models of SOCIAL STYLE and Versatility, emphasizing improved interpersonal skills and workplace interactions. Participants learn to understand:

  • Their SOCIAL STYLE preference and Versatility score based upon feedback from others
  • Different behaviours that demonstrate the four Styles

Additionally participants identify how to support the Style needs of customers, leaders, staff and other co-workers, creating more productive relationships. The components of being versatile are explored and strategies to increase Versatility are designed.

Developing Behavioral EQ™
Multiple studies have shown that the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) competencies account for the difference between star and average performers, particularly in positions of leadership. Just as important – EQ can be learned and developed. Participants will:

  • Be aware of cognitive biases and how they affect their thinking and performance
  • Identify the impact of Behavioral EQ on job performance
  • Interpret the results of their Behavioral EQ Multi-Rater profiles
  • Develop and practice strategies to improve their EQ
  • Create an action plan focused on developing their Beahvioral EQ
